Welcome to Mental Wellness for a Lifetime
Integrative Psychiatry and Therapy for the Neurodivergent and LGBTQ+ Community and its Allies
Hi, I’m Earl Johns PMHNP-BC, and I believe that mental healthcare should combine science, soul & wellness.
I’m a Psych NP who blends Western medical training, Eastern wisdom, and holistic approaches to support whole-person healing. As a LGBTQ+ man, trauma survivor, and neurodivergent provider, I teach the strength of the human spirit and the power of love and connection in their role in healing and wellness.
I created Wellthy Psychiatry & Wellness to help LGBTQ and Neurodivergent youth and adults overcome:
Depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and ADHD
Trauma, substance use, and addiction
Unhealthy relationships, low self-esteem, and burnout
Navigate their identity while optimizing their wellness
“Earl gets me. He listened and never made me feel judged for my ADHD and anxiety. He also helped me use supplements and vitamins that other psychiatrists simply refused to do. Most importantly, he gave me hope in my future — 17 year old, bisexual male,Verified Patient, 2025

Do these experiences sound familiar?
You’ve felt judged for your LGBTQIA+ identity or interest in holistic practices
Big emotions feel constant or hard to manage.
Joy and motivation are gone; even leaving the house feels hard.
You feel disconnected from friends, family, or community.
Substances, drinking, or smoking have become ways to cope.
Medication hasn’t helped, or didn’t feel right for you.
You suspect ADHD, PTSD, or autism, but aren’t sure where to start.
You’re tired of feeling stuck, anxious, or disconnected from yourself.
What exactly is “wellth”?
Wellth is the concept of being rich in well-being. It focuses on:
Physical health, mental and emotional balance
Strong relationships and community
Purpose and personal growth
Essentially, it’s a shift from measuring success in net worth to measuring it in life worth.
At Wellthy Psychiatry and Wellness, our focus is on building your wellth.
Wellth is a modern blend of the words “wealth” and “wellness.” It refers to the idea that true wealth isn’t just about money, possessions, or success — it’s about living a healthy, meaningful, and balanced life— balancing your mind, body and soul. It’s the foundation through which we must heal.
